Red Lobster crafts “sea-cuterie” boards for the holidays - SeafoodSource

Recognizing that more Americans are planning on hosting gatherings for the holiday season this year, Red Lobster and Honolulu Fish Co. are providing new entertaining options highlighting seafood.

Orlando, Florida, U.S.A.-based Red Lobster is offering customers several options to make their own "Sea-cuterie, or "Sea-cuterwreath" boards. Customers can mix and match seafood dishes such as the restaurant chain's Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp Platter and Crunchy Popcorn Shrimp Platter, Garlic Shrimp Skewers, Bacon-Wrapped Sea Scallops, and Snow Crab Legs to create their own boards. Red Lobster is providing customers with step-by-step instructions to recreate the Sea-cuterwreath and is encouraging them to share their creations on social media with the hashtag, #RedLobsterCYOSeacuterie.

Honolulu, Hawaii-based supplier Honolulu Fish Co. is taking a similar approach by offering an Ichiban Home Sushi Kit, with all the supplies and step-by-step preparation instructions, through the end of the year.

"Prepared, packaged and delivered fresh from Pacific waters to your door within 24 to 48 hours, no matter where you are in the U.S.," the kit includes sustainably line-caught Hawaiian ahi tuna, king salmon, and Hawaiian kanpachi, the company said in a press release.

The kit also features a sushi mold, bamboo roll mat, rice paddle, premium seafood rice, and a reusable tote bag with step-by-step preparation instructions.
