Lloyd Center to hold clambake, silent auction in July - Dartmouth Week
Tickets are on sale now for the Lloyd Center for the Environment's 37th-annual Clambake on Friday, July 8.
The fundraiser will include a choice of meals from three different caterers: McGrath Clambakes & Catering — the Lloyd Center's usual clambake caterer — Cask and Pig Kitchen and Ale House, and The Oxcart.
Meals must be purchased by July 1 by calling 508-990-0505 x10, or online by clicking here.
The McGrath Clambake dinner option includes Spinney Creek Maine soft shelled steamed clams, Prince Edward Island mussels, drawn butter and broth, local sweet corn on the cob, red bliss potato, and chourico. The price is $60 per meal and can be picked up at the Lloyd Center from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on July 8.
The Cask and Pig option is a family dinner intended to serve up to four people. It includes ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork, corn bread, and two sides (chef's choice). The price is $190 per meal and can be picked up at Cask and Pig from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on July 8.
The Oxcart offering is intended as a lunch option and will include a fresh lobster roll, chips, and a cookie. The price is $60 and can be picked up at the Lloyd Center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on July 8.
Each meal ticket includes a generous donation to support Lloyd Center education programs.
A tradition upon which so much depends, the Clambake helps to underwrite the costs of the Lloyd Center's environmental education, research, and outreach programs. Today, the Lloyd Center is working to bring first-rate environmental science classes to thousands of children in area public schools.
The Lloyd Center will also launch its annual silent auction fundraiser on July 1 with bidding closing one week later at 9 p.m. on July 8.
