Chattanooga Is Next Stop On Steven Cade's Giving Guitars Tour - The Chattanoogan

Steven Cade has partnered with Brent Yates, author/founder of The Gravity of Up, to raise awareness of the importance of music by donating guitars to inspire those in need. His Giving Guitars Tour visits shelters and agencies across the country that offer housing and services to families, youth and individuals experiencing homelessness and those in need. Mr. Cade visits the facilities, interacts with the residents, donates a guitar and holds live performances.

This month, Mr. Cade will visit a shelter in Chattanooga to bring new hope and healing through music for this New Year. He will be visiting The TN Baptist Children's Home on Wednesday to donate a guitar where he will visit with children and deliver a guitar and do a mini concert. Following, Mr. Cade will perform live at Puckett's downtown at 2 W Aquarium Way at 6 p.m. bringing awareness to the TN Baptist Children's Home.

"Music changes lives and the guitar is such a powerful tool," said Mr. Cade. "Music is healing and allows you to express your stories and brings joy. I give back to homeless shelters because it's part of my story, my family has been homeless as well."

Mr. Cade is a Nashville-based, award-winning, modern country artist and songwriter who has been considered for nine GRAMMY nominations. He won the Josie Award for Best Modern Country Artist of the Year at the Grand Ole Opry. He is also a California Music Hall of Fame inductee. He tours nationally and has been featured with Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Gavin DeGraw and many others. His top original songs on Spotify are Better Me, Two Less Lonely People, and Cool in California. He is the founder of Giving Guitars. Taylor Guitars is the official guitar sponsor for Giving Guitars.
