Watertown zoo will reopen on limited basis - Spectrum News

Zoo New York in Watertown's Thompson Park will reopen on a limited basis.

The zoo announced Tuesday it will hold limited hours every weekend starting this Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

It will also be open the full week of winter break, which is Feb. 19-23.

Financial issues led the zoo to close back in October, only opening for special events with no clear indication when or if it might make a complete return.
