Splash pad now open at Fresno Chaffee Zoo - YourCentralValley.com

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Anyone wanting to stay cool this summer can drop by the Fresno Chaffee Zoo's Wilderness Falls Splash Pad, which is now open.

Zoo officials say that this will help cool off families as the valley starts to warm up into the triple digits.

The area is located behind the Safari Cafe. Zoo officials say the splash pad opens at 10 a.m. and continues until closing time throughout the season.

According to the zoo's website, Wilderness Falls opened in 2018 and allows children to cool off and make a splash in the waterfall. It also says that kids can follow footprints, explore the wilderness, discover the lookout fire tower and more.

The splash pad can be accessed with a general admission ticket. Tickets can be purchased here.
