Lyon vs Zurich UWCL: TV channel, live stream, team news & prediction - 90min UK

Lyon return to UEFA Women's Champions League action this week looking to build on the momentum of an 8-0 thrashing of Dijon over the weekend.

The reigning European champions have really struggled to meet their usual all-conquering standards this season because of a devastating injury list. But Saturday's performance, albeit against a weak Dijon side, could potentially have been a watershed moment in 2022/23.

Lyon now prepare to host Zurich in matchday four of the Champions League group stage, the only side they have beaten in Europe so far this season after frustrating and disappointing results against Arsenal and Juventus in earlier weeks.

When is kick off? Wednesday 7 December, 17:45 (GMT)
Where is the match being played? Groupama Stadium
TV channel/live stream? DAZN UEFA Women's Champions Legaue YouTube (worldwide)
Referee? Monika Mularczyk (POL)

Lyon were at least able to welcome Damaris Egurrola back into action off the bench at the weekend, while Dzsenifer Marozsan got another hour in her legs as she seeks to build fitness.

However, there is still no Amandine Henry for the eight-time Champions League winners, with
Ada Hegerberg, Griedge Mbock, Sara Dabritz and Ellie Carpenter.

Christiane Endler would be expected to return in goal after being rested at the weekend.

There are signs that things are coming back together for Lyon this season. They have now won four games in a row in all competitions and the margin of victory is increasing.

Following a troubling start back in France after last season's failed loan at Manchester United, Signe Bruun scored a hat-trick against Dijon to make it five goals in her last two starts and there is nothing more dangerous than a confident striker in form.

Having already comfortably beaten Zurich away from home, they should have no issues here.

Prediction: Lyon 4-0 Zurich
