Restaurants that will help you during Lent not eat meat - MetroWest Daily News

Lent began on Feb. 14 with Ash Wednesday and lasts for 40 days. It includes prayer, fasting and almsgiving and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday (March 28). It's a period meant for Christians to prepare for Jesus' resurrection at Easter. It's tradition for Christians and those observing Lent to not eat meat on Fridays.
