Legoland Florida to add Sea Life aquarium, Ferrari attraction - Bay News 9
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Legoland Florida has revealed plans to add two new attractions to the resort next year—a Sea Life aquarium and a Ferrari-themed build activity.
What You Need To Know
Just outside the gates of the Winter Haven theme park, a new aquarium called Sea Life Florida is being built. The attraction—which comes from Merlin Entertainments, the operator of Sea Life Orlando on International Drive—will feature interactive exhibits centered on marine life and oceanic exploration.
The aquarium is set to debut fall 2024.
Inside the Legoland theme park, a new Ferrari attraction is in the works. The Lego Ferrari Build and Race experience will give visitors a chance to build and test their own race cars in interactive play areas. There will also be a digital component that lets visitors build cars to race on a virtual track.
A life-sized Ferrari made out of Lego brick will also be on display at the park.
The Ferrari experience is set to open in the spring.
Legoland has steadily added new attractions and experiences in recent years. In January, it opened Pirate River Quest, a boat attraction on the canals of Cypress Gardens. And last year, it opened the first standalone Peppa Pig Theme Park.
Legoland, Sea Life and Peppa Pig Theme Park are operated by Merlin Entertainments, which operates more than 140 attractions in 24 countries. It also operates Madame Tussauds in Orlando.
